Good Luck

The challenge at 365 cards today was to create a card for someone moving. This was perfect timing since our friends, the Legins, will be moving very soon to B.C.

Kings 04-05

Found this photo and thought I'd better get it scrapped before it disappeared again. This is Scott's hockey photos from 4 years ago and the photo worked perfectly for this week's challenge at Scrapping Out Loud, to use black and one other color in a layout. I also used their sketch even though it wasn't intended for this big of a photo. Used some stamps and a bunch of metal 'stuff' to accent.

For You

Today's challenge at 365 cards was a fun one - use 5 different patterned papers and 5 embellishments. This was a great way to use up some old papers I have.

Celebrate

Another card using for the challenge to create a card using only scraps at 365 cards. I have SO many scraps I had lots to choose from!

Thanks coach

Another card using this sketch at 365 cards. This card is for one of the boy's hockey coaches. Masculine cards just aren't as much fun!!

Basketball card

I used a challenge a 365 cards to create a circular card, or one with a circle being the prominent shape. This is for my son's friends b'day.

Cold Weather

I've had this layout planned for quite awhile, and it finally came together. I used Noella's sketch #43 at Creatively Yours, just turned it sideways. I also took the challenge at Mix It Up to recycle something - the green glittered snowflake circles and strips are from an old Christmas card. It's STILL cold here and we're getting really tired of it!!!
